So we’re doing this until the end of May (at least?) That’s another month. How? How how how?
At the same time, all change ends up feeling kind of scary, and what we’re used to, now, is this. There’s something to like in everything. It’s scary to picture going back into the regular world — taking the bus to spend hours running around downtown to different meetings that could absolutely be done over Zoom. There’s a quiet peace in the staying-at-home, that sometimes dips into depressive, but that definitely disappears when we’re back to normal.
But I am going to need new projects, to get through another month.
I hired Kyle to make batched cocktails to deliver to some founders, which I’m pretty excited about. My only stipulations were to make one purple batch and one orange batch, for work colors; I don’t know if anyone is actually going to get that. But hopefully it’ll be a nice pick-me-up for people.
The mushroom & leek bread pudding lasted us until lunch today, and I just took the sourdough starter out of cold storage in the fridge to get it ready for another round of loaves this weekend. We had a kale and delicata salad for dinner.
